Site work for a water / sewer project in Taylor, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work will include excavation and removal of accumulated silt from the Millet Swale Basin and the partial reconstruction and repair of Walnut Dr accessing the Millet Swale Basin. The work will take place in the existing Millet Swale Reservoir and along Walnut Dr accessing the reservoir, in Taylor, Arizona. Bids are to be submitted on the bid proposal form provided and in accordance with drawings and specifications on file. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or commercial bid bond for ten percent of the total bid amount, and the successful bidder will be required to provide 100% performance and labor and material payment bonds. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked for the project and submitted to the specified address. The project is funded by the Water Infrastructure Authority of Arizona and will require compliance with American Iron and Steel requirements, Davis-Bacon requirements, the Civil Rights Act, the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, and additional contract requirements. A non-collusion affidavit is required of all bidders, and compliance with all state, federal, and local laws is mandatory. The contract or any part of it shall not be sublet to a subcontractor who has not paid required taxes.
