Site work for a water / sewer project in Stephenson, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contract 2: Exterior and interior cleaning and coating of the elevated water storage tank, concrete foundation coating, overflow pipe discharge modification, and miscellaneous safety and access improvements. A pre-bid conference for the Projects will NOT be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bid Bond or certified check payable to Owner shall be in an amount no less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee, that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents within (10) days after the Notice of Award. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. The tank was built in 1938 by Pitt-Des Moines with an estimated height to low-water level of 71 feet. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the BiddingDocumentstoEngineer in writing. 7.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer inresponsetosuchquestions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered planholders. Questionsreceived less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not beanswered.
