The project consists of the following: renovation of the existing basement including updates to the library, office, and restrooms, with work on flooring, lighting, finishes, fixtures, glazing, and furniture; and new ground-up construction of an academy building for 300 students. The project is for new construction for a new high school academy for 300 students on a site on the campus of Paul Quinn College, with gymnasium, classrooms, offices, elevator, gymnasium, and kitchen and dining areas. The school will be two stories in height including but not limited to exterior metal paneling, storefront glazing and masonry veneer, concrete foundation slab with partial crawlspace, steel frame structural construction and metal stud backup, ICF panels at the ICC 500 rated gymnasium storm shelter, roofing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing food service, technology, security, fire protection, and other systems work. The site includes new parking lot and driveways, lighting, retaining wall, landscaping and irrigation and other work.
