This project consists of alterations to twelve (12) existing buildings at the liberal arts campus for the purpose of an access control system upgrade. The scope of work consists of installing door access control systems, complete with lockdown buttons, at designated entry points. These systems will be interconnected with the nearest intermediate distribution frame room, integrating them with the district security system. Furthermore, the project includes the installation of mass notification devices to bolster emergency communication capabilities. At the time bids are submitted, each bidder shall possess a valid california contractor license b and belden, genetec, synergis & coring certification for the division 27 and 28 installer, by the contractor or one of its subcontractors, and must maintain the license(s) throughout the duration of the project. All designated subcontractors will also be required to have current and active cslb licenses at the time of submission of the bid and throughout the duration of the project.
