Renovation of an educational facility in College Station, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Replacement of existing fiberglass shower enclosures with solid surface shower walls and pans, complete with all new fixtures, drains, mixing valves and curtains. SSC Service Solutions on behalf of Texas A&M University is seeking qualifications from Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms interested in preparing construction documents to design the replacement of existing fiberglass shower enclosures with new solid surface shower enclosures and shower accessories in student dormitory rooms. See the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for additional details and project milestones. Design will be in accordance with all TAMUS University requirements, current City, State and Federal codes. The A/E will submit designs to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for accessibility review as a part of this project. Any project involving roof penetrations must include a Roofing Consultant as a part of the A/E team. This includes all roof penetrations regardless of project size or scope. The estimated project budget is $4,100,000. Budget costs include construction cost, design fees, and all administrative expenses. The construction documents must be prepared and sealed by an architect and a professional engineerregistered in the State of Texas. Drawings must be complete and ready for bidding by: June 31,2026.
