Demolition, new construction and renovation of a multi-residential development in Johnson City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and multi-residential development.
Per Owner - Due to weather conditions and office closure, the bid openings for Housing Rehabilitation Projects under the Northeast Tennessee / Virginia HOME Consortium and Johnson City CDBG programs have been rescheduled to Thursday, January 29th at 8:30 am. It will still be at the same location, 3211 N Roan Street, Johnson City, TN. If you plan on dropping off your bids, please call or email me first to make sure our office is open. Qualified state licensed general contractors are invited to participate in bidding for four residential projects through the First Tennessee Development District. The scope includes substantial rehabilitation of two homes under the Johnson City CDBG program, and demolition/reconstruction of two homes under the Northeast Tennessee / Virginia HOME Consortium Grant program. All state-licensed general contractors interested in bidding for these projects are required to attend a pre-bid conference. Contractors must follow Federal requirements outlined in 24 CFR 5.105(a) Nondiscrimination and Equal Opportunity, including Section 3 of the Housing & Urban Development Act of 1968 24 CFR 135 (12 U.S.C. 1701u) and implementing regulations at 24 CFR part 135, as amended. . These are under 2 different programs (Consortium and CDBG). The bid opening is scheduled for 1/27/26 at 8:30 am, here at our office for all of these projects. First Tennessee Development District 3211 N Roan Street, Johnson City, TN 37601 PROPERTY : 1509 StoneyBrook Dr, Johnson City TN 37601 Scope of Work: It will be the responsibility of the contractor to meet the requirements of the International Building Code and local codes during all phases of construction. Upon submittal of his / her first bid the contractor agrees to having received, reviewed and accepts the terms of the programs Instructions To Bidders and the Description of Work to Be Done. The contractor will obtain all necessary permits and schedule all inspections required by all laws, regulations, or public authority having jurisdiction. The Contractor will obtain certificates of such inspections and shall submit same to the rehabilitation housing inspector before final payment is made and shall pay all fees, charges, and other expenses in connection therewith. Any Substitutions the contractor wishes to use shall be submitted in writing with documentation showing the proposed product is equal to the product currently specified. All requests for substitutions must be submitted 14 days prior to the bid opening at which time the administrator will accept or reject within seven days of receipt.
