Montville Public Schools seeks proposals from qualified vendors to replace the district's current firewall, a Fortinet Fortigate 500e. The proposal must address price for all parts, labor, design, project management, programming, shipping and handling; the proposal’s alignment with the desired solution; the vendor’s overall performance record including references; the perceived quality and completeness of the response; the vendor’s stability and risk; and the location for base of operations and support personnel. Responses must be submitted as sealed bids with a digital copy included, covering firewall replacement, configuration, VPN configuration, and ongoing service and maintenance for 3 years with a 5-year option. Individual quotes for each part will be considered. Oral, telephone, email, or fax bids, as well as proposals with erasures or alterations, will not be accepted. Attendance at the bid opening is not mandatory and omissions in the proposal do not relieve the vendor of responsibility for complete delivery, operation, and support of all equipment or services.
