Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of to replace the existing steam boiler plant and upgrading all associated mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work-related to the new boilers the main building. The work includes main building boiler replacement and associated BAS upgrade. This includes replacement of the existing steam boiler plant with new hot water condensing boilers, associated piping, and terminal heating units. The work also includes the complete refurbishment of the basement AHUs and reheat boxes, as well as provision of new rooftop return fans. A new electrical transformer and switchboard is included for new 3PH power for the new boiler and AHU equipment. Trades included but not limited to, selective demolition, asbestos abatement, lead-based paint abatement, maintenance of concrete, concrete reinforcing, CIP, masonry, steel decking, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, roofing, firestopping, joint sealants, D/F/H, access doors and panels, louvers, gypsum plaster patching, plaster renovations, drywall, tiling, wood strip plank flooring, fluid applied flooring, renovation, exterior, & interior painting, panel signage, fire protection specialties, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, fire detection alarm, grading, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete paving, pavement markings, site utilities.
