As of April 06, 2026,project was awarded to Anchor Mechanical Inc, awarded amount is $168,162.63. The purpose of this project is to replace RTU #2, install an i-VU Building Automation System, acoustic barrier, and related equipment located on the roof of the Village Hall at 400 Park Avenue, River Forest, Illinois. The project includes the replacement of one (1) packaged rooftop unit (RTU) in accordance with manufacturer requirements. The unit being replaced is a Trane 27.5-ton packaged RTU; the new unit should be of equal or greater value by another manufacturer if not replaced in-kind. The contractor is responsible for all labor, material, equipment, and any required items not specifically enumerated but necessary to provide fully functional operation, including modifications to the roof curb and duct work, roof restoration as needed, supply/return duct work modifications, tying the new RTU #2 into a new I-VU BACnet Building Automation Control System (or similar system), and tying in the recently replaced RTU #3. The existing RTU #2 has a condenser unit on a different rooftop with piping; this project intends to keep the condenser equipment in RTU #2 and provide condenser fan noise attenuation and an acoustic barrier to minimize noise spillage to the north of the Village Hall. All piping and condensers no longer needed should be removed and roofing repaired. The supplied unit must meet all current energy code requirements. The contractor must obtain required permits, perform required tests, use materials and components that comply with current local code requirements, and ensure all work is performed during normal work hours. The contractor is responsible for a clean workspace, disposal of materials per EPA guidelines, and all-inclusive bid pricing including any subcontractors required for the work.
