The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to complete the contract for the Pumping Station Bar Screens project. The project includes the installation of new traveling rake screens in one channel at Pumping Stations 2, 7, 8, and 11. It also includes the installation of new screenings compactors; new electrical and controls; heating and ventilation improvements; structural modifications; and new odor control at Pumping Station 7. All other items shown on the drawings and included in the specifications are part of the scope. The contractor must provide all items, articles, materials, operations, or methods mentioned or scheduled on the drawings or in the specifications, including all labor, supervision, equipment, incidentals, and permits necessary to complete the work as described. Any part of the work reasonably implied or normally required to make each installation satisfactorily operable must be performed and included in the applicable prices bid. The intention is to provide complete operable systems, subsystems, and other items of work, with all incidental items considered included even if not specifically called out in the specifications.
