Sealed bids will be received by the Facilities Department for Hurricane Ida Damage Repairs at the Emenes Building, Project No. 2025-07. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for at least thirty (30) days. The Owner has the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities. Plans and specifications and other information may be secured from Studio West Design & Architecture, LLC., for a deposit of $100.00 per set for a hard copy and/or a non-refundable fee of $25.00 for an electronic set on compact disk. The full deposit of one set of documents will be refunded to each General Contractor. For additional sets and for documents issued to subcontractors or material suppliers, the cost for reproduction will be deducted from the deposit and the balance refunded. Refunds are only made for documents returned to the architect/engineer within ten days after bid opening and only if documents are returned complete, in good condition, and unmarked. A pre-bid meeting will be held to allow prospective bidders to review the job scope and site conditions. Sealed proposals shall be marked with the bidder’s name, address, telephone number, State License Number of Contractor if the bid is in excess of $50,000.00, and the statement “Proposal for (project name and number)”. Bidders may submit bids electronically in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 38:2212 E (1) and can find materials and place electronic bids at www.centralbidding.com. Participation by minority and female-owned businesses, as well as businesses located in the Parish, is encouraged. The architect/engineer has classified this project as C2 General Commercial District.
