Scope of work at Massachusetts Bay Community College, Wellesley Campus, consists generally of the demolition, and legal disposal thereof, of an existing underground fuel tank and related manholes, sumps, piping and pumps. The work further includes the installation of a new pad-mounted above-ground fuel tank and related piping, pumps, modification of existing fuel storage monitor system, as well as associated earthwork, grading, paving, fencing, site restoration and other related sitework as described herein and on Contract Drawings. 1. This project includes a Bid Alternate. Refer to the Drawings and Specifications Section 012300 Alternates for more information. B. Protection of existing building(s), utilities, equipment, pedestrian walkways, sidewalks roadways, parking areas and landscaping within and immediately adjacent to the area of work is also included in the Work and shall be carefully coordinated with the Owner to minimize disruptions to ongoing campus activities during the Work of the project.
