As of April 9, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Sealed bids are requested for a New Roof Rehabilitation System for the former Lawrenceville Armory, located in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Bids will be received at City Hall of the City of Lawrenceville. Lump Sum Bids are required for CONTRACT #1: Complete Construction. Bids must be executed in accordance with attached forms, delivered in a sealed opaque envelope with the bidder's name and address and the project name. Faxed bids are not accepted. Contractors awarded the contract must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for one hundred percent of the contract amount, effective for twelve months from acceptance of the work. Bonds must be furnished within ten days after written notice to proceed. Prime contractors may obtain bidding documents from Architecture and Design Group, and up to two hard copies may be purchased per bidder, non-refundable. Electronic PDF copies are available at no charge. Individual drawing sheets or specification sections will not be distributed. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, waive informality or errors, award the contract in its interests, and hold bids for forty-five days. The project scope includes but is not limited to the demolition of any existing damaged roof materials and a new roof membrane coating system, new expansion joint covers and related roof flashing materials. Existing roofing materials with moisture including roofing insulation and related materials are to be removed and replaced with new. Existing metal roof, gutters, scuppers and downspouts are to remain. If damaged during construction, it will be the contractor's responsibility to replace items.
