Scope of Work The purpose of this IFB is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor to provide installation, removal, and related services for commercial kitchen appliances at the Manatee County Sheriff (MCSO) Central Jail - Annex Building Successful Bidder shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials, supplies, licensing, transportation, and other components necessary to provide the installation and removal of kitchen appliances that will meet the requirements of the Agreement. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids/proposals, to waive irregularies and technicalities, and to request resubmission. Also, the County reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid/proposal and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the County. The deadline to submit all questions, inquiries, or requests concerning interpretation, clarification or additional information pertaining to this Invitation for Bid to the Manatee County Procurement Division is January 26, 2026 by 2:00 P.M. ET. Questions and inquiries should be submitted via email to the Designated Procurement Contact shown below. A. Remove existing kitchen appliances as designated by the County. B. Install new or replacement kitchen appliances. C. Perform necessary electrical, gas, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical connections. D. Ensure all appliances are fully functional and ready to use upon completion. E. Appliances may include but are not limited to ovens, ranges, refrigeration units, freezers, dishwashers, mixers, warmers, and other commercial food-service equipment. F. Deliver all equipment to the MCSO Central Jail - Annex Building. G. Perform services during normal business hours unless otherwise authorized. H. Coordinate work schedules with County representative to avoid disruption of kitchen operations. I. Perform work during non-business hours, including evenings or weekends, when requested or approved by the County representative. J. Provide emergency installation or removal services on an as-needed basis when requested. K. Provide a complete packing list for all necessary equipment and materials as specified in the Manufacturer / Model section. L. Submit invoices in accordance with County pay application procedures. M. Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and qualifications throughout the project. N. Ensure that installation includes final connection to existing utility stub-ups. O. Perform all services in accordance with manufacturer specifications and all applicable local, state, and national codes for proper installation and operation. P. Provide professional project management, including site coordination, field verification, trade coordination, and quality assurance/quality control. Projected Award February, 2026 2nd Mandatory Information Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. ET on January 29, 2026, at the Manatee County Jail 14470 Harlee Road, Palmetto, FL. 34221. Attendance to the 2nd mandatory information conference is not required if interested Bidder attended the January 22, 2026 mandatory information conference.
