Site work for a library in Monticello, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a library.
Bids are requested for the construction of the Monticello Library Parking Lot Improvement Project. Principal components of the project include: full depth reclamation (3,252 square yards), concrete curb and gutter (400 linear feet), bituminous pavement (930 tons), concrete walk (2,608 square feet), 8" concrete pavement (1,007 square feet), traffic control (1 lump sum), striping (1,680 linear feet), crosswalks (504 square feet), and sodding (500 square yards). Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, cash deposit, or bid bond, made payable to the City of Monticello, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the City. This Work consists of furnishing, drilling, grouting, and inserting No. 4 epoxy coated reinforcement bars in accordance with 2521, "Walks," 2531, "Concrete Curbing," and S-3 (1804) PROSECUTION OF WORK (ADA).
