This is for the installation of a fence/gate at the Army National Guard location in Gordonsville TN. Any prospective Respondent having questions and comments concerning this ITB must provide them in writing to the Solicitation Coordinator. Security Gates - total of 1 Approved Model - Ameristar Passport IS - Gauntlet Style or approved equal, must provide spec sheet at time of bid if another manufacturer is used. - Install (1) 24 LF 7' tall security gate with steel V-Track roll gate design, 4" gate posts - Gate to have (2) 6.625" schedule 40 weight bollard posts with yellow bollard sleeve covers for protection, a total of 4 bollard posts. - Three-rail design - Black "Perma-Coat" finish with 15-year warranty - Install (1) single swing gate 3' opening, 3" gate posts, Shut-it original B.A weld on hinges with strong arm latch. - All posts shall be set in concrete. Chain Link Fence - Install approximately 198 LF of 6' tall with galvanized chain link fence - with (3) strands of barbed wire, 12.5-gauge, 4-point barbs, max 5" o.c. - 9-gauge fabric with 2" chain link mesh - 3" WT/LG40 corner, end and pull posts. - 2" WT/LG40 weight line posts, - 1-5/8" diameter, 40-weight, top rail - 7-gauge bottom tension wire. - Line post to be on 10' centers, all posts set in concrete - Tie in new fencing to existing chain link fence post using all new mechanical ties and new barbed wire as needed. - Selvages: Top and Bottom selvage twisted. Access Controls - Shall be compatible with existing AIPHONE system and tie in. - (2) dual height gooseneck-stand with two access control pads with AI - IX-DV cameras - Minimum 18" diameter concrete pad, embedded 24" in the ground, for gooseneck stand - Shall install a (120v or 240v) single phase circuit, from the nearest service panel in the facility to the gate operator with 1" fiberglass/HDPE or PVC conduit with pull string - Shall install 1" fiberglass/HDPE or PVC conduit for data communication from existing AIPHONE master station IX-MV system to the access control pad/camera and operator with pull string - Shall fully integrate the existing system with new components; test & verify proper operation of controls - (2) protective 6" steel pipe bollards (at each dual height gooseneck), concrete filled, painted safety yellow, embedded 3' in the ground in minimum 12'diameter hole with concrete. Shall extend 48" above grade and be plumb in all directions - Conduits shall be bored under any concrete or asphalt surfaces. - Communication Distance - In the event that the communication distances exceed 300', it's the responsibility of the installation Contractor to install the necessary equipment (i.e. repeater) to ensure the equipment operates correctly. As well, the Contractor must submit documentation at the end of the project that notes installation of the equipment on an "As-built" drawing in a PDF format. Heavy Duty Gate Operators Approved Model - Hy Security SlideDriver 15 for gates less than 1500lb or approved equal, must provide spec sheet at time of bid if another manufacturer is used. - 18" minimum concrete pad thickness, minimum 8" embedded in the ground - All conduits set in concrete pad and concealed by the operator to prevent tampering - Install a (120v or 240v) single phase circuit, from the nearest service panel in the facility to the gate operator with 1" fiberglass/HDPE or PVC conduit with pull string - Install 1" fiberglass/HDPE or PVC conduit for data communication from existing AIPHONE system to the access control pad/camera and operator with pull string - (1) free egress detector loop, cut in existing asphalt pavement - (1) reversing detector loop, cut in existing asphalt pavement - Accessories to be installed o Internal solenoid lock kit o Fire & Emergency Access Lock Box (with manual release) and Click2enter. Alternatives to Ameristar Impasse II Fence and Gates - if the vendor determines they can supply an alternative to the Ameristar brand fencing, it is the responsibly of the vendor to provide documentation at time of bid that the compares the options with notes and specs sheets, easily showing the product is superior to Ameristar Impasse II.
