Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marquez, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
1. Installation of approximately 4,670 linear feet of 4-in PVC waterline including valves, connection to existing waterlines, connection to existing Water Well No. 3, pavement repair, testing and sterilization, and associated appurtenances. 2. Removal and replacement of 26 manhole cones, rings, and covers. 3. Removal of approximately 980,500 gallons of sludge from WWTP. Question Deadline 01/30/2026 Submit questions for this project 72-hours prior to bid opening through Online. Estimate: $475,000 - $500,000 A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Owner or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas General Land Office - Community Development & Revitalization and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. Calendar Days: 180 consecutive days Liquidated Damages: $500.00 / calendar day The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
