The Board is soliciting bids for Large Generator Electrical Load Bank Testing and Mechanical Preventive Maintenance. Denver Water has multiple engine driven emergency back-up generators located at various sites within the Denver Water Service Area and outlying areas. These consist of stationary and mobile diesel and gas-powered generators along with several pump motors. The generators and pump motors are critical infrastructure that must be maintained on a regular basis to ensure optimum performance year-round. These units can only be serviced at their scheduled maintenance intervals and require strict adherence to this schedule. The IFB is separated into two schedules: Schedule 1 for Electrical Load Bank Testing and Schedule 2 for Mechanical Preventive Maintenance. Denver Water is seeking one or more contractors to provide these services. Bids can be for either or both schedules. Bids must be submitted electronically via email. Bidders must provide a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement to receive the Generator Pricing Schedule and must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit. Insurance and onsite maintenance are required. Reserve rights to award by line item.
