Renovation and addition to an educational facility in Ludlow, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; and educational facility.

A Request for Substitution (hereinafter called Request) shall satisfy the following conditions a. the requested substitution is consistent with the Contract Documents and offers the Owner a substantial advantage in cost, time, or energy conservation, after deducting additional costs or responsibilities Owner might incur or assume resulting from the substitution such as cost for fees for evaluation of substitution, redesign, or coordination. b. the requested substitution does not require extensive revision to the Contract Documents c. the requested substitution meets or exceeds limits required by authorities having jurisdiction d. the requested substitution provides the specified Warranty e. the requester believes to the best of their knowledge at the time of the request that the product or equipment can be provided to the Project as provided in the schedule included in the bidding documents f. the Request is fully documented and properly submitted LUDLOW INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS will receive proposals through Codell Construction Company to furnish all labor and materials to complete the BG #22-474 Ludlow Independent Schools Additions and Renovations Wood Flooring at 150 Adela Avenue, Ludlow, KY 41016. The work must adhere to plans, specifications, and addenda prepared by REH&A Architects, Shrout Tate Wilson (M/E Engineer), and Advantage Structural Engineers. Bids must be accompanied by a 5% Bid Bond, submitted in duplicate on copies of the Form of Proposal found in the Volume One Project Manual Bidding and Contract Documents, and placed in a manila envelope labeled with the Project Name and Proposed Bid Package number. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after opening. Successful bidders are required to furnish a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond. The contract will include $1,000 per day in liquidated damages if the completion date is not met. The bid requested is BID PACKAGE #18-WOOD FLOORING. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and/or technicalities as necessary.
