Reference number: 20109747 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2026-01-26 There is provision for a tendering process for each tender no Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 2 The City of Warwick is requesting tenders for road repair and paving work on the Kirouac road, approximately 1,697 m long, as well as for the 5th Rang, approximately 390 m long. These works include in particular: a) Replacement of a transverse culvert in TTOG for 1,200 mm diameter HDPE on the Kirouac road, including the backfill with longitudinal transition; b) Construction of a longitudinal transition for an unstable area on the Kirouac road, including the installation of a foundation drain; c) Replacement of guardrails on the Kirouac road, with a length of approximately 160 m. d) Unhesitating of the existing paving over a length of about 2,087 m; e) Installation of a single layer of ESG-14 asphalt over approximately 2,087 m; f) Loading verges over 2,087 m; g) Pavement marking and adding road signs; h) Repair of surface and private entrances. BID GUARANTEE: All bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee representing 10% of the total amount of the bid including taxes, in the form of a bid deposit or a certified cheque. The Contractor shall perform the work without interruption, with diligence, and shall provide a sufficient number of crews to ensure that all work specified in this contract is completed within the specified time frame. The Contractor shall plan to commence work two (2) weeks after the end of the 2026 thaw period. The Contractor shall establish its schedule so that all work is completed within a maximum period of five (5) consecutive weeks on site, including final levelling of the road surface, laying of asphalt and surface repairs. The duration of the work may not be extended, even if additional work arises from change orders, unless there are valid reasons for doing so. The Contractor must adjust its workforce according to these conditions in order to comply with the established duration of the work. The Contractor must present a work schedule at the first site meeting and, at each subsequent meeting, present a schedule showing the progress of the work.
