"The City of Pointe-Claire plans to replace the existing stairs and lampposts at Cedar Park. The project involves installing a natural stone staircase that blends harmoniously with the slope of the terrain. Natural stones will be placed on either side of the staircase to stabilize the embankment, soften the slope and create landings in the planting area, which will facilitate maintenance." Demolition of existing stairs, lamp posts, asphalt paths, concrete landings, and site elements; construction of new natural-stone stairs with landings; new railings; new bike ramp; new asphalt pathways; new electrical system including conduits, wiring, junction boxes and LED fixtures in handrails; installation of new lamp posts; landscaping including planting bed preparation, tree protection, selective tree trimming, turf restoration; subgrade preparation, granular foundation layers, geotextiles; site fencing and protection.
