Purchase of Flygt submersible pumps, parts, and repair services. Lee County Utilities (LCU) intends to execute a sole source procurement with Xylem Water Solutions USA, Inc. for the purchase of parts, repair services, and replacement of Flygt submersible sewage pumps. These pumps range in size from ¾ horsepower to 100 horsepower and are installed in pump stations throughout the Lee County Wastewater Collection System. LCU currently operates approximately 2,000 Flygt submersible sewage pumps and has standardized on this equipment. LCU does not anticipate transitioning to an alternative manufacturer. Responses to this posting will be accepted only from vendors that provide Flygt submersible sewage pumps. Xylem Water Solutions USA, Inc. is the sole authorized vendor for Flygt products and is the only authorized service and warranty organization in the area. Only Xylem parts are used for repair or rebuild of the pumps.
