Site work for a water / sewer project in North Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Please note that only registered plan holders may bid as a General Contractor. Installation of approximately 5,329 linear feet of the Ashley Interceptor Sanitary Sewer using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) methods, including 577 linear feet of 42-inch and 4,752 linear feet of 36-inch gravity sewers. Rehabilitation of 25 manholes. Bidders must comply with all applicable regulations and specifications, including all requirements of the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA), the President's Executive Order No. 11246 regarding non-discrimination, Occupational Safety and Health Act regulations, and all other referenced state and federal requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of five percent (5%) of the base bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for the full contract sum. A detailed listing of subcontractors and documentation of qualifications for both the general contractor and subcontractors must be provided. Mark-ups on subcontractor work or cost-plus overhead will not be reimbursed. Equipment or manufacturer "or-equal" qualification packages must be submitted at least ten days prior to the bid date. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and technicalities. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after opening. This project is being funded in part by programs of the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA). The Contractor shall at all times comply with all applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and directives, including without limitation those listed directly or by reference.
