Having fully examined the locality and place of the work, fully investigated the conditions of the work, read and understood the contract documents (tendering information, supplementary general conditions, general conditions, specifications and drawings, including all supplements, addenda and revisions), and secured all necessary information, the bidder agrees to perform the totality of the work described in the contract documents, in accordance with those documents, for the total contract amount listed in the schedule of prices, which includes a contingency allowance. The total contract amount is compiled from the schedule of prices with quantities being approximate; final valuation will be based on actual quantities measured during and upon completion of the work at the unit prices in the schedule. The bidder agrees to carry out any additional, extra, or deleted work as required by the contract administrator, with corresponding pricing determined by the schedule of prices or, if inapplicable, by the general conditions as amended by supplementary conditions. Any or all provisional tender items may be deleted without affecting other tender item prices. All work is to be executed to completion as specified, continuously, and within the contract time. The successful bidder must provide digital bid bonds and consent of surety to bond, and subsequently performance and labour/materials bonds, as specified. All bonds must be verifiable digital documents. Bids must be submitted online, and all documents are to be uploaded as specified, ensuring completeness and authenticity. Schedules for construction, submittals, product delivery, and cash flow must be provided within fourteen days of notification of tender acceptance. Submittals are to be made promptly, and errors or omissions in submittals or provided products remain the contractor's responsibility. The contractor is responsible for all layout, protection of monuments, and site measurements, and must prefer the hiring of local workers where available and qualified. Extended warranties as described are required for certain work. Work must be scheduled within allowable hours, with penalties for late completion. Recording changes to the work and maintaining updated drawings is required. Environmental protection and site safety standards must be observed.
