The City of Woodstock is seeking to purchase one new, 2024 or newer wheeled skid steer. No reconditioned or used units shall be accepted; demo units will be considered. The vehicle furnished shall be new, of the current production model, built in a first-class workmanlike manner of good quality, new material. The contractor shall replace and install free from charge any part which may break or fail by reason of defective material or workmanship within a period of twelve (12) months or 80,000 kilometers from the date the vehicle is accepted, whichever occurs first, or the standard manufacturer’s warranty, whichever is longer. The unit supplied must be a current standard production model for the model year in which it will be delivered and conform to all Federal and Provincial legislation in effect at time of delivery. Bidders must have a Bidding System Vendor account and be registered as a Plan Taker to access documents and submit bids electronically. Hard-copy submissions will not be accepted. Bids must comply with the tender documents, and the lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Bidders must provide complete specifications and illustrations of the vehicle tendered and all submissions must be exclusive of HST, FOB to Public Works, 944 James Street, Woodstock, Ontario. Each tender item must be a reasonable price; unbalanced bids will not be considered. All warranty information must be provided upon award, and warranty administration is the responsibility of the successful bidder. Manuals (operators’, parts, service, and maintenance) must be included in the unit price. The successful bidder must supply three sets of keys per vehicle, provide technical and operator training, and may be required to install decals as specified.
