Question Deadline 02/06/2026 Bidders shall submit questions about bidding documents to Designer in writing. Replies will be issued to Bidders of Record by addenda and will become part of Contract Documents. Designer and Owner will not make oral clarifications. Questions shall be received by Designer at least six calendar days before bid opening date. Work includes the following 1. Central Plant Building a. Hazardous materials abatement to accommodate new systems. b. Installation of new natural gas condensing boilers located in existing boiler plant, occupying space created by previous demolition of abandoned steam boiler, including flues through roof, combustion air intake ducts through roof, primary loop circulator pumps, and secondary loop distribution pumps to supply hot water to Jones Hall Cafeteria, Administration Building, Manning Hall, and Edward J. Meeman Journalism Building. c. Replacement of steam unit heaters with electric unit heaters. d. Hot water piping routed underground from south side of building to basement ofJones Cafeteria and from west side of building to first floor of Edward J. Meeman Journalism Building. e. Architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing modifications to accommodate new HVAC equipment. f. Temperature control system modifications and upgrades to accommodate new boiler plant controls and hot water pumping controls, including integration of new equipment into existing building management system and campus graphical front end. g.
