For the furnishing of all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, superintendence, and all other services and appurtenances required for: labor. FY25-ENG-46 Country Club Dr. Speed Table Project. The purpose of the project is to construct three (3) concrete speed tables, 250 LF of plastic delineators, and install 6 traffic signs along Country Club Dr. The intent is to reduce speed related traffic accidents while providing safe passage for both motor and nonImotorized vehicles. Construction contract time for the project is: 30 Working days All complete Bid Proposal in the hands of the designated official at the time set in this Notice to Bidders shall be considered. All Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Deposit in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid. Bid Deposit will be verified by the Owner prior to bid certification. Bids without an acceptable Bid Deposit will NOT be considered. Refer to Section A-2 Information to Bidders for complete information. Each bid and a bid guaranty in the form of a bidder's bond having a minimum Best's Rating A according to Best's Key Rating Guide Latest Edition from a surety duly authorized and licensed in the State of Texas; certified check, or cashier's check must be originals and must be hand-delivered to City Secretary's Office, 1110 Houston Street, 3rd Floor, City Hall Building, Laredo, TX in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the name of the project as shown above, and the name and address of the Bidder. For Bidders electing to submit Bids and Bid Guaranties electronically via online, Bid Guaranties will be verified by the Owner prior to bid certification and electronic copies of Bid Guaranties will not be returned to Bidders. Mailed bids (i.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, or facsimile submittals will not be allowed/considered. Only the bids and bid guaranties actually in the hands of the designated official at the time set in this Notice to Bidders shall be considered. On federally funded projects only, contractor must comply with the Federal Labor Standards Provision, Davis Bacon Act, Equal Opportunity Clause, Wage Determination and HUD and Urban Development Federal Requirements especially as it regards payrolls and basic records. All structural and reinforcement steel shall follow the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA). Bidders are expressly advised to review Section C-3.10 of the General Conditions of the proposed Contract as to the causes which may lead to the disqualification of a bidder and/or the rejection of a bid proposal. Unless all bids are rejected, the Owner agrees to give Notice of Award of Contract to the successful bidder within ninety (90) days of the bid opening.
