Site work for a water / sewer project in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of water treatment facility improvements (Phase 2) for the City of Natchitoches. The contractor must be licensed under Classification IV - Municipal and Public Works Construction in the State of Louisiana. The contractor is required to begin mobilization and procurement of materials within thirty calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Each bidder must deposit with the bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties for bonds must be acceptable as per the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. Bids must be submitted on the proper bid form. All bidders must sign the Bid, Certificate of Corporate Principal and Surety, and Bid Bond, which must accompany the bid in the correct amount. A resolution authorizing a representative of the corporation/LLC to sign the bid must also accompany the bid. All issued addendums must be acknowledged by the bidder. No bidder may withdraw the bid within forty-five days after the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Equal opportunity in employment is required and compliance with Executive Order No. 11246 as amended is mandatory for bidders and contractors. Question Deadline 02/05/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
