Renovation of an educational facility in New Liskeard, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The full scope of work is prescribed in detail in the attached tender documents. Without limiting the specifics of these requirements, the work generally consists of: .1 Removal of the existing Air Handling Unit in the boiler room that is providing fresh air to the cafeteria. .2 Provision of a new rooftop Energy Recovery Unit to provide ventilation air for the cafeteria, including new distribution. .3 Provision of a new rooftop Make-up Air Unit to provide ventilation air for the kitchen. .4 Removal of existing boiler distribution pumps in the boiler room. .5 Provision of a new set of boiler distribution pumps, including new distribution piping to connect to the existing piping. .6 Removal and replacement of the existing water softener system in the boiler room. .7 Modifications to the existing building automation systems to support the mechanical installations. .8 Removal, replacement of and modification to existing finished surfaces to facilitate the mechanical installations. .9 Provision of structural reinforcement to facilitate the mechanical installations. .10 Provision of new electrical distribution equipment to allow for connection of new/replacement mechanical equipment, connection of associated mechanical equipment/controls, and lighting modifications to suit where indicated.
