Furnishing of all labor and materials and performing all work necessary and incidental to Citrus Springs Elementary Fire Alarm Upgrade, Bid Number 2026-4626. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will within ten calendar days after written notice being given of bid acceptance, enter into a written Contract with the Citrus County School Board, in accordance with the accepted Bid, and give a surety bond satisfactory to the Citrus County School Board equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. No Bidder may withdraw his/her Bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of the Bids. All prime contractors must hold a Citrus County School Board Certificate of Pre-qualification to bid on Citrus County School Board construction projects. Prime contractors must be pre-qualified by the Citrus County School Board prior to submitting a bid. Prime contractors' bids must be within the bid limits specified on their pre-qualification certificate. A mandatory pre-bid conference for Prime Contractors and optional for sub-contractors will be held at Citrus Springs Elementary School. Bidders may obtain a maximum of two sets of Contract Documents from BCER Engineering Inc. upon deposit. Bidders may also obtain one copy of the Contract Documents on USB drive for ten dollars or view/download the documents online for free by contacting BCER Engineering Inc. The Citrus County School Board reserves the right to award the Bid to the lowest responsive Bidder, to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid, or to reject any and all Bids received based solely on the Board's determination of the best interests of the School District.
