Sealed offers are requested for the HVAC System Replacement for the Sheriff's Department. Submissions are to be received at the Cole County Commission office. This document constitutes a request for competitive, sealed offers per the Terms and Conditions of bidding and any special conditions set forth herein in order to facilitate the replacement of the current heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in operation at the Cole County Annex Building located at 311 East High Street, Jefferson City, Mo 65101. The County is seeking to replace our current heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in operation at the Cole County Sheriff Department located at 350 East High Street, Jefferson City, Mo 65101. The work to be performed under this contract will consist of furnishing all labor, insurance, materials, and equipment specified within this RFP. The County is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to facilitate the replacement of the current HVAC system in operation located at Cole County Sheriff Department. The overall goal of the project is to install an HVAC system that is responsive to year around temperature fluctuations within the workplace. The contractor shall recognize and perform in accordance with all stated intents, specifications and stipulations contained or referenced herein. The specifications and scope of services described in this RFP and MMEA Engineers drawings and specifications shall become part of the agreement awarded to the successful contractor. The contractor expected to complete all work, tasks, and services described in this RFP. After the units are installed, the contractor must provide the County with a maintenance schedule for the new units and be able to maintain them. This schedule must be provided to the Facility Maintenance Director, Greg Camp. The contractor must replace the nine (9) existing gas-fired heating/DX cooling rooftop HVAC units with new rooftop units. Connect the new rooftop units back to the existing roof curbs, ductwork, and electrical connections. Provide a new Honeywell Building Automation System and connect the new rooftop units to the new Building Automation System. The contractor shall reference the Mid Missouri Engineering Alliance Schedule of Mechanical/Electrical Drawings for all the tasks to complete the project.
