Bids are requested for the Warm Up Arena Extension at the Harrison County Fairgrounds. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid. Bids not accompanied by this security will be considered unresponsive and disqualified. The current Certificate of Responsibility Number must be indicated on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope. All bids submitted for $50,000 or less must be marked as such on the envelope. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part of any or all bids, based on a lowest and best bid determination. The Owner also reserves the right to waive informalities. Specifications and detailed instructions regarding the bid process are available from the Harrison County Purchasing Department or online. All bids become the property of Harrison County, Mississippi upon submission and the county is not responsible for late bids due to mailing or Force Majeure events. Bids may be held for up to sixty days for review and qualification of contractors prior to awarding the contract. No costs will be paid for information requested in the bid.
