Question Deadline 01/30/2026 Every request for such interpretations should be made in writing to the school districts purchasing administrator at abyngs@acboe.org and to be given consideration must be received at least ten (10) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Questions concerning bids should be directed in writing to Atiya Byngs, Purchasing Administrator, via e-mail at abyngs@acboe.org. Sealed proposals are invited for Bid #26-028 Dr. MLK Jr. School Restroom Partitions. Bidders must submit their proposals via the US Postal Service or other recognized delivery services that provide certification of delivery. Bids will not be accepted via facsimile transmission or email. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, treasurer's check, or Bid Bond, with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner, in an amount not less than 10% of the Base Bid (not to exceed $20,000.00). A certificate from a surety company stating it will provide the required bond must also accompany each bid. All contractors must be registered pursuant to "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act." Proof of registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, is required. Bidders are subject to New Jersey State Laws on Prequalification of Bidders, Prevailing Wage Rates, Use of Domestic Materials, and corporate/partnership disclosure. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The right is reserved to waive minor irregularities and to reject bids as per applicable statutes. Bidders must comply with requirements regarding discrimination laws.
