Sealed proposals are requested for two projects: the Brighton Avenue School Playground and the MLK Jr. School Lobby Floor. Bid specifications and general information can be obtained by submitting a request to the provided email. Bidders must send their proposals through the US Postal Service or other recognized delivery services with certification of delivery; bids will not be accepted by facsimile or email. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, treasurer's check, or Bid Bond with a corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner in an amount not less than 10% of the Base Bid, not exceeding $20,000. Bidders must comply with New Jersey State Law requirements, including prequalification of bidders, prevailing wage rates, use of domestic materials, ownership disclosure, public works contractor registration, business registration, and provision of a surety certificate. Proposals may not be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive minor irregularities and to reject bids. Bidders must comply with requirements regarding laws against discrimination. Question Deadline 01/27/2026: Every request for such interpretations should be made in writing to the school district's purchasing administrator at abyngs@acboe.org and to be given consideration must be received at least ten (10) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids
