Additionally, the site visit sign-in sheet will be posted. The contractor shall supply and install Edwards EST-4 Fire Alarm Control Panels and all required components. The work includes providing 23 EST-4 Fire Alarm Systems and performing full installation services to upgrade existing systems to EST-4 standards. The contractor shall ensure proper integration, functionality, and compliance with all applicable codes and standards. All necessary labor, tools, and materials must be provided to complete the installation and confirm operational readiness of the fire alarm systems. Field verify existing equipment pad conditions and dimensions. b. Provide protective covering for existing floor, wall, and ceiling finishes in existing areas not designated for demolition or new construction. c. Field verify that new mechanical systems and equipment can be installed in existing spaces to clear existing ceiling and maintain floor to ceiling heights indicated on drawings. 6. Mechanical. a. Field verify equipment locations. b. Remove existing chiller and associated piping, controls, and electrical connections as designated in the demolition drawings and prepared for new. c. Remove existing pump, pump isolation pad, associated piping, accessories, VFDs, and electrical connections as required to prepare for new installation. d. Determine piping to be replaced after isolation valves to match the proposed new work for proper new pump installation. e. Install new 1000 ton chillers on existing pads and connect to existing chilled and condenser water piping drops. f. Install new pump levels on new pads and connect to existing piping drops. g. Field verify piping to be demolished and match the proposed new work for installation of new pumps. h. Provide pipe stands are required to support pipe to prevent stress or weight on the equipment and systems.
