Site work, new construction and renovation of an educational facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,982-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
This project is an interior remodel located on level 3 of the Garff Executive Education Building to create a new ION Center (approximately 3,000SF). The scope of work includes enclosing the new suite/center, updating wall layout and door locations within existing spaces, and dividing up the adjacent classroom to create new offices. This scope also includes mechanical, electrical and plumbing revisions to support the new space configuration. The contractor will be required to coordinate with the owner provided furnishings & systems to be installed during the project. This project is surrounded by active classrooms, study rooms, and collaboration spaces, which will require some disruptive activities to be done off-hours. Noisy or disruptive may activities include, but not limited to: demolition, framing, hanging drywall and roto-hammer/drilling. This type of work will need to be coordinated with the project team & facility manager to minimize the impact to occupants. The FLCC includes off-hour work and the complexity of working in an active/occupied facility. Addendum #1-#2 have been issued as of 2-6-2026. Q's deadline: Friday, Jan 30 at 12pm
