Renovation of a municipal facility in Tahoe City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The work to be performed for this project consists of all labor, material, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to remove the existing composite roof and provide a new composite roof including but not limited to underlayment, an ice melt system, metal flashing, trim, composite shingles, and replacement of existing sky lights, installation of new sun tunnels, and chimney improvements for the Administrative Building Roof Replacement Project as shown on the plans and as described in the Contract Documents. Questions pertaining to predetermined wage rates should be directed to the California Division of Labor Statistics and Research at (415) 703-4280. The Engineer's Estimate is $388,307 Site inspection includes, but is not limited to: (1) familiarize themselves with the general, local and site conditions, as well as applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations that may affect the work; and (2) secure such additional or supplementary examinations, investigations, tests, studies and data concerning surface or subsurface conditions that may affect the work. All work under this contract shall be completed within sixty (60) calendar days and subject to the time constraints defined below: 1. The Notice to Proceed will be issued approximately April 1, 2026 2. Once demolition of the existing roof system begins, the demolition must be completed, and the roof shall be watertight within twenty (20) calendar days. 3. All work shall be completed by September 30, 2026. Questions regarding the Specifications or Drawings or any other portion of the Contract or any addenda thereto shall be directed to the Engineer of the Tahoe City Public Utility District, Post Office Box 5249, Tahoe City, California 96145. No interpretation of the meaning of the Specifications, Drawings, or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally, except at the prebid conference.
