Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Village of Brookfield's 2026 Lead Water Service Replacements Phase I. Bids must be submitted in the designated forms and will only be accepted from bidders who have obtained bidding documents from Edwin Hancock Engineering Company. The procurement is partially funded by a loan from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and is subject to regulations from the Public Water Supply Loan Program, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, the Illinois Works Jobs Program Act, and the Build America, Buy America Act. Bidders must also comply with the loan recipient's policy regarding the use of disadvantaged business enterprises, making specified affirmative efforts at least sixteen days before bid opening. Compliance with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, is required. Bidding documents are available for a non-refundable fee and can be examined at Edwin Hancock Engineering Co. All bidders must be approved by the Village prior to obtaining documents, and no documents will be issued after the designated deadline.
