Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Point Mugu NAWC, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,344-square-foot military facility; for site work for a military facility; and for the demolition of a military facility.
Plans call for the construction of a new armory & full demolition of the existing armory. The indoor armory facility will include weapons storage, supply room, three workstations with NMCI hook-ups, work bench, janitor room with deep mop sink, unisex restroom, break area, chain link fence (vinyl coated) with a port issue door, small table for issue port, secure entry & exit doors, four safes for person weapons storage, one indoor and one outdoor eyewash station. Exterior armory spaces will include outside weapons cleaning area under weatherproof, three cleaning tables, weatherproof hazmat locker, solvent tank for weapons cleaning, emergency eyewash station, exterior hose bib, hazardous waste cleaning barrel, parking lot, sidewalks. The project is subject to prevailing wage rages. The project is subject to the Buy American Act. *This project is being bid by invitation only.
