Estimate: $349,562.46 Sealed bids are solicited for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and the performance of all work required for the Haltom Road Quiet Zone Grade Crossings for Union Pacific Railroad. Bidders are required to examine the plans, specifications, and other documents; visit the site; and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters that can affect the work or its costs. Should discrepancies or questions arise from the documents, bidders must notify the Purchasing Agent and obtain clarification before submitting any bid. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty of either a cashier's check or a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the largest amount bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the Contract and furnish the required Bonds within the specified timeframe if awarded. Minimum wage rates to all laborers and mechanics must comply with state laws. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty days after the opening date. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for bidders to attend.
