Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Essex, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
The project includes the removal and replacement of three existing access bridges and enclosures along the Upper Portion of the Taylor Drain in the Town of Essex. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to remove existing structures, install new culvert pipes, headwalls, sloped quarried limestone end protection, granular bedding, backfill, approaches, and transition areas, and perform all ancillary work including site cleanup and restoration, in accordance with current standards. Sealed tenders, clearly marked as to contents, will be received by the Assistant Manager, Business Services, at the Corporation of the Town of Essex, 33 Talbot Street South, Essex, Ontario N8M 1A8 until 3:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026. The tender must be accompanied by a tender deposit in the form of a certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total tender price made payable to the Town of Essex. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
