Renovation of an educational facility in Powell, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 50,000-square-foot educational facility.

Work includes removing the existing membrane and installing a nominal 50-mil FiberTite mechanically fastened single-ply membrane roofing system, a minimum 1/4 " thick cover board, polyisocyanurate insulation to create grade, and the required attachments to furnish a 20-year warranty on an existing 50,000 SF roof. All existing polyisocyanurate insulation is intended to be reused, but the work also includes evaluating the existing insulation to identify areas unsuitable for reuse. If any damaged, deteriorated, wet, or inadequate insulation is found, the Engineer should be notified immediately to determine whether it should be removed and replaced. Up to approximately 10% of the insulation may need to be replaced. ENGINEER'S OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COSTS: $800,000 - $900,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Question Deadline 02/24/2026 at 1:00 PM MT Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered bid date- A mailed Bid must be addressed to the location designated in the Advertisement. Owner takes no responsibility for delivery of Bids through the mail. No FAX or email bids will be accepted. All bids must be submitted in original form with original signature of bidder. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT A. Work of the Project includes removing the existing membrane, the installation of a nominal 50-mil FiberTite mechanically fastened single-ply membrane roofing system, a minimum oi thick cover board, polyisocyanurate insulation to create grade, and the required attachments to furnish a 20-year warranty on an existing 50,000 SF roof. All existing polyisocyanurate insulation is intended to be reused, but Work will also include evaluating the existing polyisocyanurate insulation to identify any areas where its condition may make it unsuitable for reuse. If any damaged, deteriorated, wet, or inadequate insulation is found, the Engineer should be notified immediately to determine whether it should be removed and replaced. Engineer anticipates that up to approximately 10% of the insulation may need to be replaced. B. Coordinate with mechanical/electrical contractor to remove and store or temporarily support the following items prior to the start of roofing work: 1. Any mechanical equipment that must be removed from the building for placement of the new roofing system shall be properly stored onsite and re-installed upon completion of roof installation. 2. Any electrical or communications equipment on the roof to be reused. C. Perform work in accordance with Conditions of Contract.
