The proposed work consists of improvements to the existing Rizzo Court Detention Basin, including outfall stabilization, installation of vegetation, and all other associated work as contained in the contract documents. The work is located between the intersections of Pinewood Road & Rizzo Court and Pinewood Road & Cecilia Court, Howell Township, New Jersey. Prospective bidders must provide the appropriate installation references and certifications to the satisfaction of the owner. Bids must be submitted on forms prepared by Brick Utilities and enclosed in a sealed, specially addressed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the work bid upon. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid or a maximum of $20,000.00, and a Consent of Surety properly executed by an authorized surety company or permitted individual. Bidders must comply with affirmative action program requirements and must disclose the names and addresses of all stockholders, partners, or members with a 10 percent or greater interest. The project shall conform to Local Public Contract Law. Brick Utilities reserves the right to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions/defects in a bid, reject any bid containing a material defect, and reject all bids under certain circumstances as set forth by law.
