Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in South San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.
The project consists of the removal of any existing components in the area of work to facilitate new construction, including all existing striping in the area. It includes installation of new slurry seal and AC patching/overlay with new parking and driveway striping, trenching to connect utilities to the new building including sewer and water connections, installation of data routing and power runs for the entire project, and coordination with the PC building manufacturer for building delivery and installation and inspection installation of an accessible ramp to the District Office entry. Bidders are required to possess an active State of California contractor’s license (B) and be registered as a public works contractor. Bids must be submitted electronically using the provided forms, and a hard copy of the bid bond must be submitted to the District’s Facilities Office within 24 hours of the bid due date. A bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total bid price is required. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond, pay prevailing wages, comply with labor compliance and public health protocols, and may substitute securities for retention. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive irregularities in any bid received. All bids shall conform to the Contract Documents and Instructions to Bidders.
