Scope of Work The Resurfacing and Miscellaneous Paving 2026 - Phase 1 project is a City-wide resurfacing project that includes numerous streets in each ward for approximately 24 centerline miles of resurfacing. Major project components include removing the asphalt surface course, adjusting manhole and valve box castings by riser rings, intermediate course paving (as directed), and surface course paving. Additional work may include additional asphalt depth removal, underdrain installations, subbase replacement, manhole casting and valve box adjustments, base course asphalt paving, intermediate course paving, and railroad coordination as directed by the Engineer. Deadline to submit Questions Feb 3rd 2026, 11:00 AM EST To receive consideration, all questions about the meaning or intent of the Proposal Documents must be submitted through the Bonfire website Subcontractor and Supplier Business Inclusion. 2.5.1 Subcontractor and Supplier Information. In order to properly manage all entities performing work on City projects, the City requires all Contractors to complete the Subcontractor and Supplier Business Inclusion Plan attached hereto as Exhibit D. The Inclusion Plan must identify all subcontractors, supplier, vendors, consultants, and any other entity that performs work at the project site on behalf of the Contractor in addition to other information as requested on the Inclusion Plan. The Inclusion Plan must be updated when changes are made during construction and certain information contained therein must also be entered into the City's web-based monitoring system and as otherwise requested by the City. 2.5.2 City's Local and Small Business Goals. It is the aim of City to encourage the participation of a local workforce and small businesses on the City's construction projects. In furtherance of that aim, the City encourages that when the manner and scope of work affords a reasonable opportunity for the use of local and small subcontractors, that the Contractor will make reasonable efforts to contract such entities.
