Landmark has been selected to deliver the Highlands HS Canopy Repairs & Fire Alarm Replacement Lease-Leaseback project for our valued client, Twin Rivers Unified School District. The project consists of replacement of existing wood canopies and ADA path of travel as shown in the drawings. The existing fire alarm system upgrade to all buildings including the master fire alarm panels located in the Admin building. Patch and repair walls to facilitate replacement of fire alarm components and devices as shown in the project documents for a complete and operational project. The bid form must be submitted along with your detailed proposal. Pricing must be broken out by plan set. It is our intent to award both scopes together, however, we reserve the right to award based on the best interest of the project. Best Value Criteria: The following trades are subject to best value selection in accordance with the attached Best Value Criteria: - Site Demolition - Earthwork/Utilities - Concrete - Structural Steel - Electrical (Divisions 26-28) Bidders must respond to each of the best value criteria listed. These may be verified via additional sources, including but not limited to Prequalification documents and post-bid interviews. All other trades are optional but recommended. This project has a very tight schedule. 10 hour work days and Saturday work is anticipated and required. Sunday work may be required. Your bid must include the necessary resources to achieve the schedule as shown. This schedule is subject to change. Lead times: Please provide anticipated submittal and material lead times with your proposal. This project requires the use of a skilled and trained workforce under Education Code section 17407.5 and Public Contract Code section 2601. Education Code Section 17407.5 requires the use of a skilled and trained workforce, as defined by Public Contract Code section 2601, by subcontractors at every tier, to perform work which falls within an apprentice able occupation in the building and construction trades. Verification of compliance must be submitted on a monthly basis. Landmark requires all subcontractors to submit a prequalification application. Landmark's prequalification application can be found in the folder marked "Landmark Prequalification Application" in the Plan Room. Labor Code Section 1725.5 requires all contractors and subcontractors intending to bid or perform work on public works projects to annually register and pay a fee to the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) for purposes of monitoring and enforcing compliance with the State's prevailing wage law.
