Valves Customers in areas along and west of US Hwy 183 and Jollyville Road are experiencing low water pressure (less than 35 psi) and poor fire flows due to high elevations and long hydraulic distance from the Spicewood Springs Pump Station. The project involves the NW A & B Zone Waterline Extension and Pressure Reducing Valves. The estimated amount for the solicitation is $5,469,018.00. The Work consists of furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the complete construction of: o Approximately 400 linear feet of 6-inch WL, approximately 1,600 linear feet of 8-inch WL, approximately 7,000 linear feet of 12-inch WL, and approximately 110 linear feet of 16-inch WL and all appurtenances. Other work includes butis not limited to vertical and horizontal adjustment of water meter, water valves, removal and replacement of fire hydrants and valves, and other facilities within the City of Austin right-of-way. o Water facilities including abandonment of water lines and a pressure reducing valve (PRV), three (3) proposed dual PRV (8"x4"), and one (1) proposed dual PRV (12"x4") and appurtenances. o Relocation of approximately 100 linear feet of 18-inch storm water and all appurtenances.
