The Work consists of the following The Work includes renovation and existing to an existing building to include; limited site work, foundation, Wall Framing, casework & trim, kitchen equipment, Roof, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and support systems. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Renovation of an existing building for a 4,998 sq. ft restaurant, including but not limited to limited site work, utility installations, interior and exterior wall construction, concrete foundation and sidewalks, mechanical and electrical services. Sealed proposals will be received for this project. A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the amount of the bid, but not more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds, E-Verify documentation, and evidence of insurance will be required at contract signing. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. All bidders exceeding the threshold established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and show evidence of license before bidding. The license number must be clearly displayed on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if deemed in the Owner's best interest.
