The Town of Drumheller is seeking qualified and experienced contractors to provide hot-poured crack sealing services on various asphalt surfaces within the municipality, including Town roadways, paved pathways, and the Drumheller Municipal Airport runway and taxiways. The scope of work includes providing pricing on a per linear metre basis, with the unit price to include all costs associated with the work such as equipment, materials, labour, mobilization, and demobilization. The contractor is responsible for prime contractor duties, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, submitting safety documentation, and supplying all necessary equipment, labour, cones, signage, and materials. Work must follow standard practices, use approved or equivalent sealant products, be completed by the specified deadline each year, and ensure no sealant tracking on vehicles. The contractor is solely responsible for any claims resulting from the work. The Town will designate specific areas for crack filling annually based on the budget. No equipment or materials will be supplied by the Town. Proponents must have a Bidding System Vendor account, structure proposals as instructed, and bear all costs of proposal preparation. Only electronic bid submissions through the designated Bidding System are accepted. Proposals should include a description of the individuals and subcontractors involved, their qualifications, examples of similar past work, and must meet mandatory submission requirements such as proof of Workers' Compensation, safety certification, licenses, and insurances. Proposals are evaluated based on technical (references, qualifications and experience, safety) and cost components. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject proposals, negotiate terms, and award all or part of the scope of work. All communication is through the Bidding System.
