Renovation of an educational facility in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade educational facility; one-story above grade educational facility; one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.

The Contractor shall supply and install a Type B lighting retrofit and associated controls at Ayr PS, Conestogo PS, Howard Roberston PS, King Edward PS, Laurelwood PS, Laurentian PS, Northlake Woods PS, Southridge PS, and Tait St PS. Bids are requested from qualified and experienced subcontractors for this scope of work. Bidders must submit pricing for only those schools they are interested in and must have the resources to perform the work in all areas they bid on at the required performance level. The Board will award each school separately to the lowest compliant bidder, but may award all schools to one bidder if it is in the Board's best interest and the bidder can meet the requirements and timelines. All goods and services supplied must be new and warranted for at least twelve (12) months, with installations and repair labour also warranted for twelve (12) months. Warranty coverage begins after inspections and acceptance by the Board. Bidders must provide at least three references for comparable work completed in the past five years. One reference should be from the WRDSB or a similar government entity if prior work for WRDSB has not been completed. Additional requirements may include insurance, WSIB clearance, non-disclosure agreement, bonding, and a signed agreement as specified. All bids must be submitted through the electronic Bidding System. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring their bid complies with all requirements and is submitted before the closing time.
